Charlotte County Summer Driver's Education Programs

General Information

Student must be 15 years old by the beginning of the Class. This driver's education course will be offered 1 time during the summer.

1. REQUIREMENTS:
   1. Student must complete the 4 hour Drug, Alcohol, Traffic Education Course
   2. Student must have in their possession a Learner's License by the start of class.
   3. No Sandals (closed toe, closed heel shoes only), No hats, No Food, No Phones, No Ipods..etc.
   4. Enroll through your public school
      
      
2. THE PROGRAM WILL PROVIDE:
   1. 6 Hours of Classroom instruction (4 days at 90 minutes per day)
   2. 6 Hours of Behind the Wheel instruction (pick up at school after classroom, approx 12 session)
   3. Preparation for the actual State of Florida road test
   4. Upon completion - each student will recieve an insurance certificate for the purpose of insurance discounts.
